The Regional Center on Conflict Prevention of the Jordan Institute of Diplomacy with the cooperation of the Konrad-Adenauer Foundation organized International Conference: "Global Common Challenges and Regional Trends - the Arab World in Times of Change" held in Amman on 3rd and 4th November 2007.(Remarks by the President)

The "NATO Objectives and Policies in the Euro-Mediterranean Dialogue Countries and the Greater Middle East".  The conference was organized in cooperation with the Regional Center on Conflict Prevention and the NATO Public Policy Administration.  A group of academics and decision makers from NATO, Egypt, France, Algeria, UK, Morocco, Tunisia, and Jordan exchanged views on the means to enhance and improve the role of NATO in the Mediterranean region.

"Security and Cooperation in the Middle East and North Africa" Conference.  This conference was organized in the framework of the Canadian-Danish initiative in cooperation with the Regional Center on Conflict Prevention.  The conference brought a group of international security and cooperation experts from government and civil society organizations to create a methodology for security and cooperation in the region.  A number of experts took part from Algeria, Canada, Denmark, Egypt, Belgium, Britain, Iraq, Israel, Italy, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Tunisia, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Yemen, and Bahrain.
