The JID also hosted a number of thinkers, politicians, and journalists from Jordan and abroad to give the following lectures:

    Dr. Toby Dodge, Counselor/ Director of the Gulf Countries Program of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) of the UK gave a lecture entitled: "Is the U.S. Already Defeated in Iraq? The Causes and Consequences" on 30/10/2006.  The lecture was attended by a number of intellectuals, politicians, and participants in the JID's New Diplomatic Attachés Program.

    In the presence of Her Highness Princess Muna Al-Hussein, and a number of spouses of Arab and foreign diplomats accredited in Jordan, and in cooperation with the Cultural Committee for Wives of Diplomats, Dr. Khaled Abou Rumman and Dr. Ismail Bilbeisi from the Ministry of Health gave a lecture on avian flu on 8/2/2006.

"Factors Affecting Women in Jordan: Religion, the Government, Society," Karen Shihab, Visiting Researcher, the Royal Center for Interfaith Studies.
"Iraq: An Empire in Denial," Daren Atkinson, Visiting Researcher, Regional Center for Humanitarian Peace/ Higher Council for Science and Technology, Amman, 14/5/2007.
