2008 Training Courses


The Institute organized the following training program for diplomats who recently were posted to Jordanian Embassies abroad:

  1. A program to enhance and develop skills for the promotion of economic development and investment in cooperation with the Jordan Investment Board with the participation of 20 diplomats, July 6-10, 2008.
  2. A program on Foreign Aid to Jordan in cooperation with the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation with the participation of 10 diplomats, July 6-10, 2008.
  3. A Tourism Industry Program with the participation of 24 diplomats, July 7, 2008.
  4. A seminar on Jordanian Foreign Trade in cooperation with the Amman Chamber of Commerce with 24 diplomats, July 24, 2008.
  5. A Marketing Skills Course with the participation of 24 diplomats, July 20-22, 2008.
  6. A Stenography Skills Course in both Arabic and English with the participation of 24 diplomats, July 27-31, 2008.
  7. A Public Speaking Skills Program with the participation of 11 diplomats, July 27 - August 8, 2008.
  8. An Economic Cooperation Program coordinated with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce with the participation of 21 diplomats, August 3-5, 2008.

Presently, the following courses are being organized for participating diplomats awaiting posting to Jordanian Embassies abroad:

  1. Remedial Tourism Program.
  2. Media Skills Program.
  3. Human Rights Program.

The Institute will also organize the following program:

  1. A training program under the title "Leadership and Change Management" in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National School of Administration in France, for Senior Staff in ministries and government organizations, November 17-19, 2008.

The following courses were prepared for the seventh group of Jordanian Diplomatic Attachés:

  1. A Seminar on "Jordanian National Security" in cooperation with the Faculty of the Royal Jordanian National Defense, July 30, 2008.
  2. A Seminar under the title "Dialogue of Civilizations and Religions", August 11, 2008.

The Institute also organized the following training programs:

A special program under the title "Legal Framework" on dealing with diplomatic (in cooperation with the Jordanian Customs Service) Participants: 19 customs officers from Jordan, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE and Palestine 12/8/2008 - 14/8/2008
Workshop on Human Rights in cooperation with the National Center for Human Rights for diplomats who recently were posted to Jordanian Embassies abroad.   10/8/2008
Workshop on "Health Tourism" in cooperation with the Association of Private Hospitals. 19 diplomats who recently were posted to Jordanian Embassies abroad. 18/8/2008
A special program under the title "Legal Framework" on dealing with diplomatic Participants: 19 customs officers from Jordan, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE and Palestine 12/8/2008 - 14/8/2008
