2009 Training Courses

The Jordan Institute of Diplomacy, in cooperation with the Program on Humanitarian Policy and Conflict Research at Harvard University and HPCR International, organized a series of three specialized thematic workshops addressing a variety of legal and policy challenges in current conflict situations. These workshops took place at the Jordan Institute of Diplomacy, Amman from February 22nd - March 1st, 2009.

The three workshops covered the following topics:

1. Advanced Principles of Humanitarian Law and Policy
February 22nd – February 24th

2. Occupation Law and Peacebuilding
February 25th – February 26th

3. Islamic Law and Protection of Civilians
February 28th – March 1st
