[22/7/09]: The Opening ceremony of the program of the new diplomatic attachés of JID

The President of the Jordan Institute of Diplomacy, Dr. Omar Rifai, inaugurated a program for new diplomatic attachés, which began on Wednesday, 22 July 2009. In his opening remarks, he welcomed the participants, assuring them that the Institute would provide a positive atmosphere throughout the nine-month program. He warned the participants that their diplomatic work, which began at that moment, would require precision, excellence, hard work and serious use of all the skills and information that the program will provide. Dr. Rifai added that their diplomatic path has only just begun, and there will be many opportunities along the way for them to prove that they are ready for such a responsibility. Diplomacy is not like a traditional career; it is a way of life that demands initiative and the ability to forge solid relationships with all people. At the end of his remarks, the President wished the participants luck and success in the service of their country, representing the best of Jordan.
